firefox 4 將加強對 OpenType Font 的支援

Firefox 4 將可透過自家專用的 CSS (-moz-font-feature-settings) 來直接運用 OpenType 字型所提供的一些功能，例如：kerning, ligatures, alternates, real small caps and stylistic sets，目前只有 Firefox 4 支援。

開發中的 CSS3 相對應的標準可在 CSS Fonts Module Level 3 中查到，名稱為 font-feature-settings property。

其實在 CSS Fonts Module Level 3 中另外有一些 font-variant 的新 subproperties，據說在功能上可提供較佳的 author control，但 Firefox 4 尚未支援，目前只能夠以較 low level 的方式來直接運用字型的功能。
